Farrah is amazing and doing well everywhere she goes, and so smart. Sometimes I think she wants to stay at home some mornings with and just play with the kids all day instead of going to work with me....but she follows me everywhere and we all love her, and even my young children kiss her. She really enjoys going to the Dog Day Spa and thank you again so much for such a wonderful Service Dog, the professionalism and you hospitality and the love and companion you have for U.S. War Veterans. Kimberly French and I are grateful to be able to have you as friends and look forward to the new addition in 3 years.....lol cant not wait to see what you will have down the road. FYI our Vet said that Moonshine is the BEST SHEPHERD that has EVER came in there!!!!:) They could not believe how well mannered she was and how she let them work with her!

Sometimes I really am blown away how brilliant Barrett is. Every time I work with him he picks up a new trick or what I'm teaching him immediately. This is by far one of the smartest dogs I have ever worked with. I highly recommend Appleridge German Shepherds to anyone looking for a GSD.

Secret doing wonderful. Right in the coop with sixty chickens. Could care less. Walks around all the cats and ignores them. Walked her on about twenty acres today and laid by the pool. She is super attentive to me mostly.She slept for three hours and never moved until I got to gate at the driveway and it opened. Then she sat up. Our driveway is really long as we are way up on a hill and I kept telling her this is your farm and she was looking out the window.She is really pulled to olivia and i. Funny. She is doing perfect. Just thought I'd let you know how proud I am of my girl (Sammi). We
went to the vet for a quick health check, 'cause she has an appointment
to get spayed on July 14 and she was a perfect angel. Chaos all around,
dogs barking, cats meowing and she decides to have a little nap while
we're waiting... LOL!

Appleridge GSDs are awesome. They raved about both their temperaments and herding instinct. The tester told me she would love to train Zen he would be so fun to train! Everyone applauded when Zen was finished his test. I must have told 10 people where my beautiful dogs came from.
Karma passed too. Totally different style and drive. Youngest dog at the test.

Just wanted to drop you a line and update you on our new puppy. Stella is doing great and has been a hit with everyone she meets. I've even had some cat lovers tell me Stella would be able to convert them to dog people. She is doing really good on the potty training with several days of no accidents. Mom's a little tired though. Forgot what having a baby requires. She absolutely adores Greta and I believe the feeling is mutual. Everything is going good so far!! Sending you a little video of the two of them.

Many people in Keegan's family cried today. It has been very cold here making it difficult to get outside and out of the house. My boys kept asking to please go out. I finally relented and Promise seemed more than happy to come along. After putting her vest on, Promise immediately sat beside Keegan as we all got geared up. I don't know how she knew exactly what he needed but she did. Keegan doesn't have very good balance and he is hesitant to walk in the snow. Promise managed to tow him along without dragging him and continued to check in and stop if he needed it even when I wasn't paying attention.
It is very hard to explain how special going on a walk as a family can be. Russ and I cried. Grandparents and Aunts and Uncles cried. Promise has far surpassed my hopes for what she could do for Keegan. And this is day one.

I just wanted to send you a recent picture of Bear..... I also wanted to share a story that I think you would appreciate. As you know, it took Bear a long time to really settle in, but he is very happy now and a wonderful partner for me and the family. Since I work from home, Bear is very attached to me. About a month ago I was working in my office while my wife was at work and my girls were at school. Bear usually lays next to my desk and is very easy going. At about 10:30am I was trembling and felt cold and sweating at the same time. Bear jumps up and starts to take his head and slam my leg and arm with it. He was running towards the door and back to me and seemed very agitated. I had never seen him do that and he would not stop hitting me with his head. I finally stood up thinking maybe he was sick to his stomach and needed to go out. As I stood up I started shaking and felt like I was going to fall. I realized that my blood sugar was dropping. I ran up stairs
